Using Answer the Public, here are some good content topics for those in the financial industry today:

what finance means - (1,600/month)

how finance works - (260/month)

when to finance a car - (90/month)

where to finance a tv/furniture/car - (30/month)

what finance manager do - (140/month)

what finance majors do - (90/month)

Lots focusing on the career aspect - what a finance manager, department, or employee does, what finance majors tend to do after graduating, whether a job in finance is easy or hard.

It's likely that the audience asking on these is in high-school and preparing for college - if that's your target audience, and you've got something that might help them, it might be wise to bid on these strings.

Then, lots are practical - when to finance a car, where to finance a large purchase like a TV, furniture or a car.

If you're a financial institution, it could be helpful to dedicate a blog post to demystifying these aspects of finance for people.

Finally, the big two - what finance means and how finance works. As someone in charge of brand perception, this gets me veritably giddy. This is a huge opportunity to get our story out there in a series called "What Finance Means to us." It lends itself to personalizing the brand, connecting your own brand story with the readers' thoughts, feelings, and emotions, and making tangible the services you provide.

If you're a bank or credit union, you don't just sell savings accounts, right? You help mothers and fathers buy that first car for their daughter. You help them put their kid through college. You help kids turn their allowance into even more money! Okay, that last one might be a tough sell on account of the lack of prefrontal cortex - but you get the picture, right?
